2007 Clean up results

The Clean-up Fund Committee approved restitution dollars to be spent on cleaning up a total of twenty (20) different sites within Franklin County that were littered with solid waste. Some of these sites had been illegally dumped on with construction and demolition debris, tires, appliances, and household furniture. The other remaining sites were cleared of litter resulting from automobiles and pedestrians. At these twenty (20) sites one hundred forty two (142) community service workers removed approximately forty one thousand, nine hundred, seventy (41,970) pounds of solid waste!
